My favorite movie blog, The Playlist, has shared their comprehensive list of the 20 best movies of the year. No huge surprises aside from the positions some of the titles fell into. Maybe the biggest surprise is Sicario getting the second place slot. The top three are still elbowing their way to the front of the line and assuring a place at the top.

Actually, I think The Duke of Burgundy is the big winner here. On most of the lists it has appeared on, Burgundy usually sits in the #10-20 range, so to see it make the top five of my preferred website makes me take a new interest in this movie about two women and their dom/sub relationship.
